Point of sale Redesign

This project focused on improving a Point of Sale (POS) system that needed a clearer, more efficient flow. The previous setup made invoice issuing complicated and created friction for users, so we redesigned the experience to make it simpler, faster, and easier to use.

Problem & Opportunity (old version)

Previously, the POS only allowed invoice issuance through a separate feature

which created several challenges:
❌ Clients using the local desktop version  couldn’t transition smoothly to the Web platform.
❌ The visual experience was confusing for users, making it hard to understand what
was being shown on screen.
❌ Each new client needed individual support to enable the feature.
❌ There was a growing demand for a better, unified solution.

Solution

To address these issues, we redesigned the POS flow to bring clarity and efficiency:

✅ Unified the key features into a single, simplified screen.

✅ Improved layout and screen readability, including adjustments to the non-fiscal document.
✅ Added parameters to control when invoices are issued, optimizing operational flow.

The result was a smoother
and cleaner interface, leading
to faster onboarding and fewer support requests.

“I found it super practical. The screen is much cleaner, and the new layout looks great.”
— John Victor, England Market
